CALS Charitable Trust
AZ Summer Picnic
The Corporation Board organizes an annual summer picnic in New York for Cornell Chapter alumni. The more information about the upcoming summer picnic can be found in the latest issue of the newsletter or by contacting the Corporation Board (Jeff Perry - jap255@cornell.edu)
The CALS Charitable Trust was established as part of the Second Century Campaign to remodel the House in the 1980s. The Board consists of six Cornell Chapter Alumni. In 2012 the Trust began supporting the active Chapter by providing Academic Enrichment Grants. Each semester Chapter members can apply for funding to pursue activities that complement and enhance their experience at Cornell, for which other funding is not available.

Enrichment support includes:

Attending leadership and professional developmental programs, conferences, or other curriculum enhancing experiences

Travel, supplies, or expenses related to academic work or internship experiences

Travel, supplies, or expenses related to academic research
​
Because the Trust is completely funded by donations from Cornell Chapter Alumni, the Corporation Board encourages Alumni to contribute their annual dues of $50 to the Trust. The Corporation Board and Charitable Trust are currently coordinating efforts to support the active Chapter. To contribute to the Trust you can send a check made out to "CALS Charitable Trust" to the AZ Alumni PO Box:
